About Emergency First Response
Emergency First Response (Emergency First Response) is the fastest-growing international CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and first aid training organisation. Dedicated to training the lay rescuer, Emergency First Response courses encompasses adult, child and infant CPR, AED and first aid training. Courses are specifically designed to meet regional, local and federal compliance standards.
CPR and First Aid: EFR Primary and Secondary Care
Emergency First Response® is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills. As one of the foremost international CPR and first aid training organisations, Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. They’re for anyone, not just caretakers, teachers and sport-instructors.
You’ll master these skills with the guidance of a skilled EFR Asia® Instructor, giving you the confidence to provide care in an emergency situation.
Emergency First Response courses follow current emergency patient care standards as published in the American Heart Association Guidelines 2005 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care and the Basic Life Support (BLS) group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). The Fun Part
The fun part about EFR training is learning serious medical emergency response skills in an upbeat, positive environment. You gain the confidence that you are prepared to help in an emergency.
What you will learn in the EFR Primary and Secondary Care courses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level
- AED (automated external defibrillator) use (optional)
- Preventing and caring for shock
- Spinal injury management
- Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk
- Basic first aid and first aid kit considerations
The Learning Materials you will use
Through a combination of independent study and skill practice with one of our instructors, you’ll build the confidence and skills to provide basic emergency care. The Primary and Secondary Care workbook and video on DVD preview emergency scenarios and provide step-by-step skill demonstrations.
All course material can be provided in a full array of languages, classroom instruction can be given in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, German, Dutch and Hebrew.

To enroll in EFR Asia courses, you must
